Apple Macintosh Accents

To Insert an accented letter when using an Apple Macintosh Computer, you need to press these codes:

To create an Acute (´) accent, press Option(Alt)+E, and then type the vowel you want.

To create a Grave (`) accent, press Option(Alt)+`(Next to the Z key), and then type the vowel that you want.

To create a Circumflex (hat) accent, press Option(Alt)+I, and then type the vowel that you want.

To create a Tilde (Squiggle) accent, press Option(Alt)+N, and then type either N,O or A.

To create an Umlaut (Two dots on the top) accent, press Option(Alt)+U, and then type the vowel you want.
